Last week, our talented Marketing and Design types, Richard and Hope, had the opportunity to explore the exciting world of promotional products at Merchandise World. This annual trade show is a haven for anyone looking to source unique and innovative promotional items for our clients. A Day of Discovery Richard and Hope spent their day browsing through the vast array of products on offer, from classic items like pens and mugs to innovative gadgets and eco-friendly options that were in abundance this year, which aligns perfectly with TC Branding’s commitment to responsible products, services and sourcing. Building Relationships Beyond the products themselves, the trade show offered a valuable opportunity to network with our valued suppliers and peers in the competitive, but friendly promotional merchandise industry. Hope and Richard connected with suppliers and distributors, strengthening existing and forging new relationships that will benefit all our clients. A Successful Trip Overall, the visit to Merchandise World was a resounding success. The annual BPMA (British Promotional Merchandise Association) awards were held on Wednesday 24th January 2024 at the CBS Arena in Coventry. Sales Director, Mick Humphries attended the award ceremony with his son Joe, to represent the TC team. The BPMA awards are the equivalent to "the Oscars" or "the Grammys" in the promotional merchandise circuit, so it was a complete surprise to the entire team when we found out that were nominated in the Distributor of the Year (£3m - £5m) category (sponsored by Preseli). TC Branding are excited to announce some fantastic news for 2024! We are introducing our partnership with Ecologi, where we will be directly supporting environmental projects. For every order we receive, we will plant a tree into our 'TC Branding' forest - a digital representation of trees planted in the real world as part of a global reforestation project. We will then plant your tree and send you a link, so that you can see it's location, species, age and which project it belongs to! Ecologi, who responsibly plant these trees with Eden Reforestation projects around the world, confirm they have a positive human impact as well as a positive environmental impact. They train local people to plant new trees, they plant native species, and provide fair-wage employment to the community.
